    ###**WRITTEN RECIPE**

    ###**INGREDIENTS**:

    For Rabri

    * Milk – 1 lt
    * Cardamom Powder – 1 tbsp
    * Sugar – 2 tbsp
    * Dry fruits of your choice (THINLY SLICED)
    * Saffron

    For Tukda

    * Bread Slices
    * Oil to fry

    For Sugar Syrup

    * Sugar – 1 cup
    * Water – 1/2 cup
    * Cardamom powder – a pinch
    * Gulab Jal/Rose Water – 1 tbsp

    For Garnishing

    * Silver Leaf
    *tutty fruity
    * sliced dry fruits

    ###**DIRECTIONS:**

    Step 1) Cut the brown edges of the breads and then cut them from centre in two pieces. Keep them aside.

    Step 2) Add milk in a heavy bottom pan and give it a boil. Now reduce the flame to low.

    Step 3) Once you see cream layer on top, move it aside and stick on the corner. (See video for reference)

    Step 4) Keep doing this until the milk in the center has reduced to 1/3rd.

    Step 5) Add sugar and cardamom powder and give it a good mix.

    Step 6) (Optional) Add nuts and saffron and cook for five minutes on low flame.

    Step 7) Now scrape the corners and move all the cream that’s on the sides in the milk. (See video for reference)

    Step 8) Now cook for 1 minute and switch off the flame. Rabri is ready.

    Step 9) Now add water, sugar, Cardamom powder and rose water in a pan and cook until it gets to one thread consistency. It’ll easily take about 5 minutes. Switch off the flame.

    Step 10) Heat oil in a pan and fry bread pieces on medium heat until golden. Do not cook them for long or they’ll get burn.

    Step 11) Take out the pieces on a tissue paper and then put them in warm sugar syrup. Keep them in the syrup for atleast 5 minutes.

    Step 12) For serving, add bread slices in a plate and cover them with lots of rabri. Add silver leaf on it and add chopped almonds and pistachios. Finish it off with some cherry or tutty fruity.
